Stop Trump

So here is a challenge for all my friends who believe that anyone who refuses to vote for Hillary Clinton for whatever reason must be supporting Donald Trump for POTUS. I have just received my ballot for Washington State's Presidential Primary election. I have decided to vote for Dr. Ben Carson.

You see, the Washington State Democrats and the DNC have made it quite clear that the Washington primary will have ABSOLUTELY ZERO IMPACT on the Democratic nominating process as all of our state's delegates will be awarded based on caucus results (which Bernie Sanders won quite handly, I would add). Therefore I see it as my duty to do anything I can to prevent Donald Trump from receiving enough delegates to receive the Republican nomination. Therefore, in my effort to #StopTrump I will become a Republican for a day and become a hindrance to Trump's progress.

If you support Hillary Clinton, it would only make sense that you would want to do everything in your power to deny Trump the nomination as well, right? So I challenge you to do your part and put your vote where your mouth (or pen, or keyboard) is and vote for the anti-Trump of your choice. What do you say?

The New Left Shue

Well I screwed up - Again. After almost a decade of blogging as The Left Shue, many of which I shared via my own dedicated domain TheLeftShue.com, I allowed my domain to expire and be taken up by another user. Why someone wold want to take over the name is anyone's guess but, alas, it has now placed me in the position of having to create a new title for my posts.

Introducing "The NEW Left Shue."

I will be making my best effort to stay active and current with my return to this venue and will (from time to time) retrieve previous posts from the original templates and provide them as an archival record of The Left Shue. While the posts shall remain mostly of a political nature, I will from time to time bring up a cultural reference as well as shameless plugs for my other love, Shady Day.

Please watch these pages in the coming days as I plan to get busy in creating a pleasant nesting place for an exchange of ideas and Progressive views on the events of the day.
